When Abby applied to be an M.Bee Studio Senior Representative, I was thrilled. Not only is she an exemplary student, I know (and adore) her incredible mother, who was one of my children's teachers. It just seemed fitting for Abby to be a brand ambassador for the studio!
Abby keeps pretty busy. She has high aspirations for college, and is working hard at that goal, taking multiple high level courses and participating in a wide array of extracurricular activities, not to mention holding down a part time job. A Senior Portrait Session was the perfect opportunity to get away from all of that for an afternoon, and just have a good time.
And have a good time, we did! From the consultation through delivery of images, Abby has been so enthusiastic about it all. We decided to do a couple of casual looks, and a few that were on the dressier side. I enjoy posing my clients in various "sets" that we come up with as we narrow down the looks we will photograph, and we were able to do a few of my favorites with Abby's session. As she was not one to shy away from color, we kept the backgrounds clean and simple and just let Abby take center stage. Abby's mom, Mary, also jumped into a few frames to capture a few portraits with her daughter.
One thing I love to do for my clients is to show them a video of their session, along with some of the finished images. It's the perfect complement to our heirloom products and a wonderful keepsake:
As you can see, it really was a fun session, and none of us wanted it to end. I am so pleased with the images and the incredible young woman on the other side of the lens. I am looking forward to keeping up with Abby during her Senior year and her college years and beyond!
